The Ciao restaurant offers fast service with friendly staff. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, with a diverse menu and a good selection of wine. There are also vegetarian options available. However, the layout of the restaurant could use improvement and there are limited vegan options. The quality of the espresso beverages can also be inconsistent.
A wonderful place full of great friendly people,although called a cafe,it is great place to have a drink with warm,friendly people. Not once have I ever felt out of place,some working class folks,but surprisingly a lot of proffesionals also go there.There are no "pathetic losers,riff-raff or scum" as stated in other reviews.
No chef or wine list in sight! Bar maid is friendly, depending on who is working. Only place open passed 12 down town. If you need a bite, order a pizza delivery to the place. Drinks are cheep, service is fast. 2 types of people in Paris, those who go to Europa and those who lie about going to Europa!

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable and excellent coffee. This is not wheelchair accessible, nor would I recommend bringing children in, but for meeting up with friends or even having an informal, this is a great place to be.
The food is not bad, but it is a hang out for all the riffraff in Paris and is badly in need of updating. All you have to do is look at the front and you will go elsewhere.
Went there a few time for night drinks.... it's a welcoming place, many local frequent here.... fun time.... not fancy.... extremely casual
