Cafe Fontana - Reservar una mesa

We had been traveling for hours and stopped in Pontiac. It was late on a Sunday night and we were looking for someplace to have a good meal. Most places were closed, or about to close, as was Cafe Fontana. Alicia and the two others at Cafe Fontana welcomed is in, said order anything on the menu, they understood out plight. The food and service were fantastic. They were so sweet and welcoming, and displayed no sign of irritation at our late arrival. Thank you so much for feeding these weary travelers with such grace. We'll be sure to stop here again!!

The food is ok. Seating area is clean. Prices are medium. Can't put my finger on it but something is lacking. Maybe next time I'll try a pizza. For such a small menu I expected a little bit better. Had the pasta bolognese withe penne. House salad with balsamic vinegar dressing. Staff was polite and engaging. All in all a pretty good place. Was probably better before the pandemic.

I've been here for three years. Every time I come in, it's always clean and the staff is polite. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's not your normal mom and pop restaurant. Far exceeds the quality of food and services you would receive in more expensive establishments in Chicago.

Road out there from Oswego on the bike. The pizza was REALLY good. The staff was very friendly. Have to make a trip out there again soon. Got home to Oswego after swinging into a buddy's house in Plainfield, and was wishing i had another few pieces of that pizza. Was really good.

I don't usually eat spaghetti in a restaurant. I think my homemade spaghetti is pretty good. Now kudos to Cafe Fontana, her spaghetti came near me! My friend had the Chicken Parmesan, who was also very good. Thanks also for the attentive service. We will definitely be back

Lived in Pontiac my whole life and never tried this place until today. Absolutely amazing food, fantastic customer service, and the price is nothing to complain about at all. A bit hidden from street view, but once you get in you won’t be disappointed. 10/10

The food is great! I had Tuscan chickens and my friend had Italian beef. I didn't know until they got a passage today! I wish there was an updated online menu.

We were hungry and needed something other than subway or burgers. Nice place to eat and recharge. Great food. Great staff. Not far from Interstate.

I Love their Calzones! I get the meat calzone with Feta cheese (instead of ricatto)and add spinach ! Yummy ?

nice eating, good quality, friendly staff. they also have a large flat-screen TV and an open flame oven
