what an adorable little gem of a place... friendly people, it's quiet and cozy. Very clean ? the food was good but I can't say great. we ordered a wide variety of food, we both got Cubans with extra pickles, they were dry we didn't get extra pickles, hubby had none, he asked for double meat, they didn't do double meat, we both got potatoe balls which were pretty good basic but good, he got yellow rice and black beans which was ok.. I got flan he got rice pudding... like I said the food was good, but not what I bragged to my hubby about, I had been there a few years ago. It was better then.

I do not recommend the place. We bought a total of 140 dollars from them and because we bought a lot from them they gave us an obligatory tip of 26 dollars. When I asked why I had to pay 26 dollars as a tip, the owner told me that for the amount we bought we had to tip that mandatory amount. So consuming them is bad? The place is not in the best hygienic conditions, the workers look sad and are not very helpful. I don't recommend the place at all.

I order for pickup, I specifically asked for the sanwish this morning well toasted and the order was not even toasted. If you do things, do them as the client asks. I write this opinion because it is the second time they have placed my order wrong, so they can improve next time! Thank you.

Love this place, been going for years and years through at least one relocation. Get the special, you can't go wrong. Black beans. Yellow rice, plantains.
