Nachdem wir den wirklich tollen Straubinger Tiergarten besucht hatten, lag direkt am Ausgang das "Cafe Im Park" und wir beschlossen spontan die Location zu testen. Das Café selbst wirkt recht neu und ist im italienischen Stil eingerichtet. Aber nicht nur. Gleichzeitig soll es etwas rustikal und offen wirken - was sich durch die Terrasse verstärkt. Das junge Personal war sehr freundlich und wir hatten nicht den Eindruck, dass sich an unseren Kindern jemand stören würde. Im Gegenteil - durch die Lage am Zoo, ist man offensichtlich Kinder gewöhnt. Before, the service was very friendly. But after a long waiting period the noodles with tomato sauce came to our little one. They were heated yesterday and badly with tomato sauce. It's a pamp. My wife then discovered hair. The sausages with herbs were ice cold in the middle and only slightly fried. I stopped eating, and I said so. She offered us a café in the house. I had no great expectations for the food here and was taught a better one. My Pizza Rustika (Price10.50Euro) was a very good stone oven pizza. The Salami ham pizza from my accompaniment tasted a little fade. The service was friendly and flotted. The toilets clean. I'd come back.

The cafe in the park is idyllic at the exit of the animal park Straubing. In beautiful weather you can sit on the spacious terrace with direct view to the adjacent green with pond. Nice service. Prices acceptable.
