We visited for lunch today after 2.30 hoping that the cafe would not be too busy. It was still fairly busy, so we sat outside on the deck for a quieter spot. We waited for at least 20 min for someone to take our order - we were told "out of sight- out of mind", then told that it would take 20 min for the food. We left. This is the 2nd time we have left this cafe before we have eaten as we have been totally ignored. We have eaten here and the food is good, however I don't think it's rocket science to treat your customers with some courtesy and respect.
I love living up the hill from KO Bar and Grill. I can get beautifully cooked local produce and friendly service without having to leave my town. The staff at KO Bar and Grill care about their community and we have been to many fabulous fundraising events at this venue. It is glorious sitting out on that deck having a drink while the sun pours in and the kids are happy playing! Thank you KO Bar and Grill you and your food are WONDERFUL!
We had a plan of going to the Fish Creek hotel for having dinner and getting some rest after our hike to the Mt Oberon but it was between lunch time and dinner and they couldn't serve us so we ended up going to KO bar and grill.The food was great ( we had a small Up the Creek pizza and Carbonara pasta and a serve of wedges and it was enough for two ppl) besides they let us play pool for free. Good place to stop by on the way to Mel.
Casual, bustling place on the corner with outdoor deck seating. It was a lovely place to have good pizza and a nice cold beer after a day at the beach. The staff were very friendly and prices reasonable. Recommended.

Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with the food quality at this BBQ restaurant. I was excited to try it out since it was conveniently located next to the music venue I was attending that night.
Stopped at Fish Creek for a quick easy lunch. Pizzas were good and pretty tasty. Service was quite good but had to ask for cutlery and napkins otherwise all good. Would recommend for easy lunch.
Looking for a quick meal whilst on he move. Tasty pizzas hit the mark. Can recommend the Up The Creek pizza in particular.
Recommended by our B and B hosts for dinner. Brilliant pizza and great calamari and very reasonably priced.
