We've been here for over 10 years. Unfortunately, we noticed that the cakes have had a significant drop in quality for about two years. At a birthday party, there was the cake of Zarnitz, totally pure, where is the quality?? Unharmed prices. I never go back there and many others no longer. Luckily there are enough other cafes that are cheaper. Also kindness is no longer given. The owner showed his true face by being very loud and sworn to his customers.
If you ever visit Herborn (especially by train , you definetely have to stop for a cup of coffee and a cake at Zarnitz Konditorei (wich is just across the street of the train station! before checking this historic town and the surounding countryside attractions. What surprised me about the cake was that despite being low on sugar, none of the taste was lost.. On the contrary.. More flavours were coming into play! Enjoy!
For many decades customer there, as a child I was able to enjoy the cakes and cakes of Zarnitz. We, also my children, always like to go and are most enthusiastic about the Nice cake. As many people write here, it is not cheap, but quality and enjoyment have their price and these numbers we always like here. Who wants cheap will find something somewhere else, we like the quality.
I found it by chance and haven't eaten such a good chocolate cream for a long time! Here you taste the craftsmanship and the trouble that you put in a cake. We ordered our wedding cake here in the summer. From the beginning to the end a top service. The order was received by the boss and was able to provide us with helpful tips on the selection and design of the cake. The cake was then delivered on time at an agreed time, we and the guests were delighted with the taste.
Best confectioner in the region. If you like cakes and other treats for coffee, you will find them here. Price performance is also true. Small but fine business and for enjoying people just the right thing. Always worth a visit.
