I do not have an habit to leave negative comments on bar/restaurants, but I would like to advise tourists that the personnell is very rude if you do not speak/are German. Despite having tried multiple languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian it has been impossible to get anyone communicate with us in a language different from German. Waitresses have been totally uncooperative and it looked like they were sort of mocking us (interestingly the only word they knew was credit card . Honestly terrible.
Located on the Central Square , this restaurant offers a daily special that is quite affordable and interesting . My wife tried an asparagus plate as we where in season , while I ordered the chicken with fries . My plate was very good but my wife found her asparagus to be undercooked but the sauce was delicious . The portions are quite large and the wine was quite affordable . The decor is quite nice , the seats were comfortable and the ambience quite cozy . Service was fast and friendly !
Am 15.5.2017 habe ich in der Steipe "Filet von der Dorade in Zitronen-Knoblauch-Butter geschmort auf mediterranem Gemüse & Kartoffelspalten"... das Filet war weich und zart, aber die begleitenden Kartoffeln und das Gemüse waren kein Glanzlicht der Küche. Die Auberginen waren zäh, das Gemüse war lustlos aufgehäuft und war auch nicht sehr lecker, die Präsentation war ohne jegliche kreative Idee... Für den Preis (16€90) dann doch ein bisschen bescheiden alles...
In the times of Corona Lockdown in January 2021 this photo was taken. The house is really very beautiful and it is not covered by parasols like in a normal summer. In the building there are many figures and it still looks so freshly pushed out of the egg. The original building was built in the 14th. Built in World War II, completely destroyed and then rebuilt. It is really one of the most beautiful houses on the Trier main market.

Fast, competent and polite operation. Drinks came right away. And the food, from the pleasantly clear menu, came in normal 20 minutes. The mushrooms were fresh in the Försterschnitzel. Pepper cream sauce is piquant. Be careful with delicate palate. Everything in a very successful evening. PS: The external gas industry has been evaluated here.
We hebben helaas ruim 20 minuten op het terras gezeten zonder dat onze bestelling werd opgenomen. "Mijn collega komt zometeen", andere mensen rondom ons kwamen later aan en werden eerder bediend... We hebben daar nog een paar minuten op gewacht maar helaas... We zijn vertrokken naar een ander terras.
Goed adres voor lunch maar erg groot. Bediening is onvriendelijk het. Eten was lekker maar niet verrassend. Terrasstoelen zijn hard en je zit vaak in de volle zon zomers. Locatie wel mooi aan het marktplein en het restaurant zit in een historisch pand
This restaurant is located in the Main Market Square. We just wanted a couple of drinks and to sit for a while to enjoy the views. You pay for your drinks or food as soon as you get it. It’s a nice location to sit and relax.

we have celebrated several birthdays here and delivered to us at our high time. eating is always super, the environment and the service anyway great. tja, the prices are reasonable at the good location.
