My husband and I loved our time at Hotel Krieghoff. The room #5) had everything we needed and was incredibly clean and comfortable. Although this room is right off of the main lobby, it has double doors and is very quiet. It was nice having access to the mini fridge, water, and lounge area right outside our room. We had no contact with the staff, but felt if we needed something they would be able to accommodate.We found the hotel to be perfectly situated, as we spent our few days walking between Old Quebec, Saint Sauveur, Saint Roch, and Saint Jean Baptist neighborhoods. A favourite for decades. The high quality of food service hasn't diminished. Since the street redesign a few years ago, tables have been added on a sidewalk patio, and the original patio attached to the café has been upgraded. If you want to escape the tourists, this is the place to go to start your day, afternoon, or evening just a 15 minute walk away from the walls of the old city.Nearby activities: The Musée national des beaux arts du Québec is just a few minutes away. Top notch exhibitions a grand view of the river and the Plains of Abraham.
The whole experience, since the time we arrived until we left, was flawless. I couldn't be happier for my choice. A bit expensive but it was during the Labor Day weekend so it was kind of expected anyway. We stayed 3 nights, with my wife, at the Hotel Krieghof. Its location, in a beautiful neighborhood, makes you feel like an inhabitant of Quebec, a 10 minute walk from the historic center. A place with a lot of life, but quiet and away from the big crowds.The friendliness of the staff at the hotel and its restaurant, coupled with its location, make the perfect combination for a great stay in Quebec.We will return

We stopped here for a brunch on the recommendation of our local host, a very decent breakfast/brunch spot with nice vibes for sure.
Had dinner there recently, the fish and chips were average. Had to chase up the beer I ordered as it was taking too long to arrive.
Our favourite place for breakfast. Foods is good, excellent latte, cozy atmosphere.
