Cafe La Nueva - Reserva de mesa

Went here for the first time since I moved to Jackson Heights in January. I had so much trouble choosing what I was going to have. Everything looks amazing. In the end I went with a Beef and a Spinach Empanada which I read so much about. They were both awesome. Very generous with the filling and there was no grease at all on the crust. Both were very tasteful and price was right. Empanada this good for $2 each. Can't beat it!!!! I will certainly be back for Empanadas and more.

One of the best bakeries around! Their baked goods are delicious, and the highlight is definitely their ice cream coffee—it's the best in the area. I've visited several times just to enjoy that ice cream coffee. Their fruit cakes are also quite tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos during my visits, but I'll be sure to snap some next time!

The churros were fantastic! I bought them for my Spanish class, and they were such a great deal at $1.75. My classmates were curious if I had them, and I happily told them they should try them. I can't wait to get more of these delicious treats!

Love this local bakery cafe. Empanadas. Dozens of different baked good and desserts. Breads. Good coffee. Yerba mate. Frozen pastas and empanada tops. Not Colombian. Uruguay owners. Pan Latin American flair. Reserva una mesa ahora

It is one of the best bakeries I have ever been to, all its products are delicious. I also found things that I hadn't eaten in a long time, like pandebono and alfajores.

The Alfajores were not too sweet and had enjoyed their structural integrity. The Queso Empanadas were also good.
