Cafe Le Meridien - Reserva de mesa

Came for lunch, 14 euro pp for 3 courses, outstanding value for money and the quality of the meal was second to none. Fantastic service from the owners jean-Marc and edalina, although the menu was small we could have asked for anything, apparently the steaks and omelettes are legendary. Everything obviously home made, proper hand cut chips, the mixed meat platter starter was a plateful of thick cut salami, Parma style ham and a wedge of pate, fresh green salad, the beef brochettes were just cooked to perfection as was the canard. We 've just sailed from Joigny to Clamecy and this was the best cafe meal on the trip. There are better high class dining options but none as genuinely French and where the locals eat. But be warned!! Arrive early!! I think the locals have permanent bookings/tables so room for the odd walk up is at a premium. We had the formula menu, 14euros for 3 courses, excellent, with a nice bottle of wine. Given the chance I 'd certainly go back again.

Came for lunch before our canal cruise and came back a day early to lunch again. Best meal so far in France. Mouth watering real french cooking!! Just had the Pave Borguigon and it was delicious. A must do if you are ever this way. A few smiles will warm up the austere publican.

Shocked by rude waiter who yelled at us because we moved the outside table two feet to keep out of the rain. He said we should have asked, when we offered to move it back, he said it was too late now! Decided against staying for lunch, paid for our coffees and left. Reserva una mesa ahora

Coffee was good, but outdoor seating noisy and alarming huge lorry after huge lorry flies down the hill straight for you only turning at the last minute would only take 2 3 seconds of inattention!

J'ai déjeuné dans ce café-restaurant situé au centre du bourg. L'accueil est agréable. Les plats sont simples et copieux. Le service est rapide et sympathique.
