We were staying in a hotel across the Place Gambetta and arrived early so took a stroll and decided to have a drink outside in the sunshine of Cafe le Riche. The owner was so polite and served our drinks. He spent time talking to us and was so welcoming. The food being served looked very good so after checking into our hotel, we chose to come back after visiting the old town. We ordered glasses of rose and cheese salad and sausage from the specials menu. Both dishes had been prepared with care and were tasty. Quirky bar/bistro with outside tables and chairs. Does a fabulous sharing platter of meats and cheeses (other food is served too). Drinks as expected when in France, very kindly sold us loads of bottles of water to take away too. But the service from Godfrey and Christian is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. If you want to relax and watch the world go by, this is the best place to do it.
Incredibly friendly owner/manager who could do no more to make us feel welcome. Good range of drinks and a number of large screens to watch the sport, very handy when the rugby world cup is on. The restaurant was closed on Sunday when we visited so I can't comment on the food but would highly recommend this bar.
Stayed for 2weeks in Bergerac. My friend Janet and i called into this bar nearly everyday. The owner was fantastic..taught me some French. His sausages with creamy mushroom sauce were excellent. Loved the place..true French..not touristy. A must visit when in Bergerac

Almost like a pub in England, except the owner brings your drinks to the table. loads of tv to watch sports, did not eat here but drinks good value for money and both the owner and locals really friendly. If I lived in Bergerac this would be my local.

For NYE 2017 we decided to stay close to home and were super excited to attend Grouse Mountain's New Year's Eve Gala.
5 stars if you're a fan of great scenery and awesome weather, and you are lucky to get a good table.
