During our longest day of tour, I wanted to eat somewhere in Saint-Germain between the Luxembourg gardens and the Orsay Museum, the two magots were perfect. I did not know that we would be right in front of the church of Saint-Germain, the oldest betting that gives its name to the street and the neighborhood. We could see him when we got up. We had a very good lunch of salads and sandwiches with fries. the service was good and it was nice to eat on our side in the courtyard between the building and the church. The most memorable part of the meal was an aggressive little bird that flew from the bushes behind us and on our table. She then moved to the neighbor's table and took a bite of her ch...
We must admit that we never ate here without valid reason. There is a beautiful outdoor dining room in addition to the typical sidewalk seats we prefer. Maybe it's the best place to watch people betting. But we never come to bet without a visit. and we never have a desert anywhere else if we are within walking distance of the two margots. It's a must-see place. but be careful, the coffee is expensive and the desserts, presented by pretty young tempters on a set of options, are not resistible. So don't try. Let yourself be tempted, eat savour and pay with a smile.
I was robbed at Deux Magots in broad daylight. When I localized the thief he had left the cafe and then returned. So he acts with total impunity and can rob several people in one day. Staff tells me that thefts are frequent in this establishment. I would like to see action taken and more empathy towards customers that have been robbed.
ldm definitely has a story as a place where the artists of the past gathered together. It's really a nice restaurant inside and outside. Is it a tourist trap, probably, but still deserves a visit because it's an excellent introduction to eat in a restaurant...and it's worth it.

We had lunch on the terrace in front of this coffee. the place is rather nice, the service was moderate, the food was good and authentic, but the drinks are very expensive, especially wine glasses and coffee.
They have excellent service. Another thing I like, they have excellent desserts. you can also get French beer here. Finally the atmosphere is in love.
Atmosphere was great, great location to people watchFood was great, tasted very fresh and meticulously prepared, presentation was outstanding.
Low quality food for this once well known breakfast location, slow services, one nice garçon, others not so it’s my colleague)
