Cafe Lewandofsky - Reservar una mesa

We absolutely loved this cafe which was directly outside our hotel, the Hotel Erzherzog Johann. Sundaes were terrific and oh so big! It was a wonderful outdoor area in the center of town, near the river, and it was relaxing to just sit and soak in Austria. My family loved every sundae they tried. That was the only thing we ordered but everyone said the cakes were good too. If you go to Bad Ischl, you can't miss it!

Nice place to sit. Eiskaffee was ok. Coffee comes out of the fully automated machine. Do it's probably never really bad (or good). Beer on tap. Charley Tremmel ice claims to be excellent. Come for drinks at the outdoor bar in the evening of for afternoon cakes and coffee. Menu cards worn out - need replacement. Service slow - to be expected in a touristy place.

Everytime when we visit Altausee, we are visiting this conditorei for an ice cream. Lot of different flavors. Also cake is perfect! One down site, price per bol increased from €1 to €1,20 last year towards €1,30 this year. Without this increase they would have received 5 stars...

The coffee, dessert and also with Charly Temmel ice cream you will find the welcoming taste of Austria here. They offer free internet and light things to eat beside dessert and coffee

Good location in the centre of the town, but right on the main road. The service is attentive, but the food was only average. Shame.
