We have sampled almost 90% of Bad Soden am Taunus, Neuenhain and Sulzbach bakeries and I must that Merci has the best cakes. They also make celebratory cakes which you will not get on order from many others. The 40 muffins we ordered were delicious even though they messed (size difference for birthday cakes ) with part order. But all was forgiven and forgotten as the little ones enjoyed and finished them fast. The coffee was regular but during winters every cuppa is delicious when outside. Our go to bakery.
Cafe Merci is a quaint little French bakery/cafe/restaurant in downtown Bad Soden, just off of the main street. We have mainly gone for Sunday breakfast, and the food has always been delicious and plentiful. The bakery is excellent, with traditional French breads and pastries, and the bread is hands-down the best in town. The piece-de-resistance, in my opinion, is the croissants. Light and buttery, absolutely delicious.
This is a French island in Bad Soden and it offers incredibly delicious pastries - from the almond croissant to the tarte tatin...better than some things you get in France. Definitely great for take away or to sit there and enjoy some really great baked goods while sipping your coffee.A pity it is 40km from where I live otherwise I would be tree every day...
We are regulars at this cafe. Usually only come for coffte and pastry but have ordered food a few times before and it's ok. The pastries are very good along with their desserts. Service is standard for germany (slow and distant) but they have warmed up to us over the years, slightly. Toilets are clean and stocked.

This is a nice cafe with good atmosphere and service, serving french breakfast menu items like croque madame / monsieur, etc. It was a very positive experience for me and a wonderful breakfast alternative to hotel breakfasts, and they open quite earlier than other places. I look foreword to my next visit!
I quickly walked in to grab some breakfast croissants and muffins. As always, the kind lady boxed the pastries, placed napkins in a bag & wished me a good day! They were very tastey.
The breakfast here is brilliant; fresh bread, pastries and cheese - good value for money for the quality of produce. Very pleasant interior too. Thoroughly recommended.
Its very full normally. Some staff are very rude and service level is not good enough. Spending time in there for relaxing doesnt really work.

The staff is awesome and they have the best cherry pie ever. Great for breakfast or only to have a coffe with the delicious pie.
Friendly staff and a nice location for a quiet sit-down. Very central in Bad Soden town centre. Good free wifi.
