Cafe Meyer - Reservar una mesa

The café lies in the village below the castle (Burg and there is a free public car park next door although we usually walk to it from neighbouring Glueder because we love the well organised and signposted footpaths through the forests along the valley beside the Wupper. The café is fairly small although upstairs in addition to the restaurant there is a balcony with outside seating. We have always received a warm welcome (although speaking German does definitely help! The cafe lies in Bergisches Land and one of the local dishes is Waffel with cherries (Kirschen and cream (Sahne . If you like sweet dishes then this comes highly recommended. after one of our hikes, we have been received friendly here and have eaten delicious cakes. Unfortunately, the service was very unattentive and slow.In our visit there were also four dogs present at the same time, which were very disturbing at least for us.The resulting unrest as well as the resulting odor were absolutely not pleasant! Too bad, it could have been nice! I would be happy if my little contribution to the experience could be helpful.

A fabulously warm welcome and prompt service! The food the local waffle and selection of breads was so tasty. It was great to see everyone given a jolly smile and welcome from dogs to weary walkers. We left feeling relaxed, full and well looked after!

Stopped there one morning for breakfast as we visited Schloss burg, very friendly service, good choice, decent food, reasonably priced.

The service is amazing here. The staffs are really friendly. Food is great too!! And they even gave some water for my doggy.
