Although the quality of the food and the ambiance was good, there was too much dysfunction with the wait staff and service. Our server only spoke French and it was awkward and confusing for her as well as us. Last time I checked we were not in France! Although this restaurant is a BYOB, they did not offer us a wine cooler, and our server took our wine to a back area of the restaurant where I guess they keep all the beverages that people bring in. It was a good thing we were paying attention, as we observed the owner of the restaurant at another table preparing to serve them our bottle of wine. Luckily we made him aware that it was our bottle. my wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant dinner in this charming restaurant before visiting a performance in the paper mill playhouse. the restaurant is beautifully decorated and looks like a pariser bistro. the personal is friendly and service is attentive. I ordered the salmon and my wife ordered the duck. Both dishes were delicious. all together, a very beautiful experience
