Fine dining at its best, with a beautiful hospitality and without the ridicules prices. We loved all portions and we had starters, mains and the wonderful apple strudel. The wines are good and have a nice selection in glasses as well. We were offered to tour the museum in between courses and were give the time for it before the main course. We enjoyed the food, the hospitality and the atmosphere. The waiters are professionals and nice, the restaurant is in a beautiful beautiful old house and the experience was simply perfect and was not ruined by the bill at the end.

We visited the Museum Restaurant twice and had an excellent home made ice cream and sorbet. We sat outside absorbing the views. There is lots to do for children in the garden. We visited the museum which is well worth a visit.The second visit was after a long walk, the restaurant was full, there was a wedding too but the staff accommodated us,mew had the most delicious cakes!Visit for the food and the lovely staff. The initial impression from Chalet Girl was completely washed away when we entered the restaurant. The food was lovely, being very tasty. Possibly a tad overpriced for fish and chips but much better than the standard pizza or pasta. We had a mistake with our initial order (no smoked salmon salad) that did get resolved quickly enough. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for good food in a cultured environment.

Once again an amazing meal, even with fussy children. We visit whenever we stay at the Himmlhof and are always made to feel very welcome. Portions are perfect and Children’s meals are made with as much care as the adults. Chef always visits the table...to check how the meals were. Chicken risotto is my favourite. We loved sampling the local gins as well!

Pilgrimage here because my daughter is a huge 'Chalet girl' fan but it turned out to be a fabulous dining experience and the upstairs museum was a bonus. Great food, good service and fine wine. A little expensive but well worth it. Local food far and away from the normal ski resort pizza and pasta houses.

This restaurant, located in a historic large house has beautiful rooms to dine in. It also has a museum. We had a lovely waiter and over-all the food was good, the schnitzel very good. It is a restaurant that you should visit if you like traditional food in a very pretty setting. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had an excellent meal here on the chalet staff night off. The service, food and wine was exceptional. Despite being expensive €112 for two people I felt it offered value for money.
