Cafe Museum Rietberg

The museum has a very interesting, large and diverse collection of no-european art (maori, african, Asian... and it usually offers good time exhibitions, so it really deserves a visit. On the other hand, the restaurant is said to serve good breakfast... but I'm afraid it's not true: the coffee is pretty bad and very expensive, like desserts.

Taking a break between exploring the various exhibits and enjoying coffee and snacks while looking out at the courtyard at the museum made for some special memories (at least for this photographer).

Um, could you perhaps explain to me why the museum is closed on Easter Monday when so many people have the time and desire to visit one of the interesting exhibitions?

We just took the coffee, but sat their for a while. The café is amidst a great environment. A green feeling and very friendly staff. Must visit.
