I have visited this restaurant multiple times, but unfortunately, I have had a negative experience with the same server each time. I went after work and arrived 20 minutes before closing. The server seemed annoyed and made it clear that he was not happy to be serving customers so close to closing time. He did not explain anything about seasonal drinks and complained to customers that he was not serving anyone else because closing time was approaching. He muttered under his breath at customers who arrived after me and then sent them away. The drink I ordered was supposed to be extra hot, but it was not even hot at all. The rude waiter with glasses and dark blonde hair made a mistake by serving a cappuccino instead of a mocha. Despite my insistence, he argued that it was a mocha without even trying it himself. His rude attitude and tone were off-putting, as he should have been more respectful in his interactions with customers. This experience has made me hesitant to return to this establishment. Is this how Caffè Nero treats its patrons? Remember, the customer is always right - please ensure your staff receives proper training on customer service etiquette. A disappointing encounter.
I don’t know if I visited on an off day, but the coffee was awfull and the muffin definetly wasn’t fresh, (Staff) If your wondering who wrote this it was the customer who left the full cup of coffee and the uneaten muffin on an outside table a few weeks back, thankfully I’ve voted with my feet.
The café was bustling but exceptionally tidy and orderly. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The only letdown was that some of the items we desired were unavailable, most likely due to the busy holiday season approaching Christmas.

I wouldn't recommend, and won't be returning. The drinks are very overpriced, given the quality. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but took around 20minutes to make three drinks without anyone being else being in the cafe.
As we're in lakeside decided to pop in for a hot drink, I had chocolate and my daughter had a coffee mine was a bit watery, and was quite pricey, and very slow service, won'-t be returning
I always enjoy my Nero’s coffees and never disappointed. Service always good. However I always find the mezzanine too hot and it does get busy.
on my way into work we always grab a Hot Chockie to go just to start the day off right. the ice drinks are lovley too always cheap and cheeful

Worth a visit if you are an O2 prioritise customer . . . you can sometimes get a free drink etc via the app. Good quality drinks and cake.
