My husband daughter and myself called into Cafe UNO last night for tea...Not a great experience. We found the waitress to br very pushy barely gIving us time to look at the menu, while hovering to take our order.We all ordered a Pasta dish. My husbands Spag Bol was in his words OK. My daughters lacked some of the elements stated, Fettuccine Pestcatori barely had any seafood in it and the sauce was like pure tomato paste UGH. My husband was eating his Garlic bread and the waitress tried to take it from him. He had to take it back twice after telling her he was not finished. My daughter asked for a to go box, while putting what was left in the box the waitress grabbed the dish from her hand pu...
The food was beautiful for my recent visit with my daughter. We really enjoyed the bolognese arancini, and we shared wedges. Big menu to choose from, and the prices are fair. You get a big serve! We had lovely service on Sunday, a lady with blonde/grey bobbed hair was very helpful in helping me with the specials board and the young blonde lady who checked that we were OK with food and drinks at our table was so smiley. It's nice to be served by someone so genuine. Parking: Easy parking with plenty of carparks. We had a Birthday here. Great Food and portion sizes, But...... the waiters were constantly loitering around our table and annoyingly asking if we had finished with our meals every time stopped eating to talk.. We bit our tongues and left after the mains. Didn't want to hang around for coffee and cake. 1st time eating there. Took my husband and 2 younge kids. The man that served us was absolutely amazing. Great with accommodating my children and the food was 10/10. We will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming towards my family with 2 younge kids. WORST SERVICE I have ever received! It’s a quiet Tuesday night, drinks are taking 20 minutes, food was quick but has obviously been microwaved. Chicken was cold and pasta was raw. Tried to communicate with staff about the issues we were having but were ignored and have been continuing waiting for our drinks.
