Excellent food holy cow. We got the calamari (best calamari I’ve had all COVID-19), 2 orders of the octopus with mashed potatoes, which were amazing according to my mom stepdad, the ravioli with asparagus and sage butter sauce — this was insanely good. It’s a special and I hope they just keep it on the menu forever. The cheesy ricotta and buttery slightly heavier sauce— jeez it was great. We also got the chicken parm, which while not on the menu, they were happy to make. That was also insanely good. My stepdad got the veal scallopini — he was so blown away he made me try it. My family and I have been patrons of Cafe Oggi for many many years, through weddings, engagements, funerals, birthdays and holidays. Renato and his team never disappoint. The food is classically prepared, always with care, particularly the pasta's. The Veal Canneloni is a standout outstanding. They go to great lengths to provide comfortable and warm ambiance, great service and evenings to remember.. and they deliver every time. We recently celebrated my mother's birthday there and had a wonderful evening again. Thank you Renato. You and your team have created someplace special.
I went to platz for lunch on a Thursday and found it to be quite peaceful. The Italian lunch menu was simple but satisfying, and made me feel like I was eating fresh, flavorful food. I ordered the chicken piccata with sweet carrots, which was delicious. I was pleased with the overall taste of the meal. However, I did notice that the wine glasses and decor could use some updating.
As for the food, the calamari was the best I've ever had. The ravioli in pistachio sauce was amazing and the cannelloni was the best my guest has ever had. The dessert, chocolate cake, was delicious and the cappuccino was perfect. Overall, this is a great spot for a date where you can take your time and enjoy the affordable, delicious food. I would give it a 10/10 rating.

Stopped in on a Thursday for lunch. Place was pretty quiet with a reasonable simple Italian lunch menu which always makes me feel more confident in the freshness of the food. I had a chicken piccata served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted really good and I was happy with the food. The wine glasses and decor could be updated a little bit though.
This was the best meal we've had in a long time. The standout dishes were the lamb chops with gorgonzola, the fantastic carbonara (even though it's not on the menu), the delicious limoncello, and the fresh arugula salad with goat cheese and roasted beets.

Excellent meal. Loved my beet salad and pasta, husband very much enjoyed his pasta and seafood. Lovely place. Will be back.
