Cafe O'Lei Kihei

My husband, sister, brother in law and I ate here for dinner on a week night. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We started with calamari which was on wet lettuce so some of it was soggy and some was rubbery. Not the best and would skip it next time. I had the grilled prawns. The servings were generous and it was served with plain white rice. The dish was cooked well and presented well. My husband had the special. Chiapino. He liked it and the price was fair for the portion. My sister and her husband had new york steaks. Hers was perfect, his was full of gristle but they made him a new one that was very good. Our server was polite, friendly and the service very good. All in all it was a good meal. One less star for the extremely loud noise level and soggy calamari. We would all recommend this restaurant.

Good food and delicious drinks! Our server was also excellent. The price was something on the higher side of the future (partly because we also got drinks), but the quality is definitely there. Would recommend as a place to eat and give 4.5 stars if I could.

Disappointed with the food, presentation and level of service. Haven't been here in 10 years and now I recall why. Get it together.
