I started ordering from cafe Oliveto since 2014 when I moved into Cairnlea and have really enjoyed their generous portions and the flavours that go into their pastas (marinara, vegetarian) and their famous $10 Monday parma’s. I’ve moved out of the area now and still no other pasta justifies from Cafe Oliveto. The owner and the staff are so pleasant and hope they are doing well because they are a good joint to get quality Italian food for you pay for.
The pizza at this restaurant is delicious and affordable. We ordered a large meat lovers pizza for only $9.50. The place is very busy with a lot of people ordering takeout, but the pizzas are made quickly. The pizza was fresh and packed with meat. The extra layer of cheese under the meat really enhanced the flavor. However, the service is not the greatest so you may need to speak up to get their attention.

Great pizza, well made from base to toppings. We have tried a few different ones and never been disappointed. The Pasta is ok too, nicely cooked generous size. But I tried their Carbonara for the first time and unfortunately it was bland. I ended up adding salt, pepper and parmesan to improve the flavour. Yum! Came here to take advantage of their $10 parmas with a drink and was so satisfied.The parma was a generous serving to the point where I had to take mine home to finish off. The only critique would be the wait as they were also a pizza house with external orders. Other than that, I would love to come back again for the parmas.
It's okay pizza but there isn't anything else in the area that is a good option. It does the job. Been here a lot of times and Micheal's special is the go too. I didn't really like there pasta or there bbq wings but its worth getting a pizza here and is an easy option around Cairnlea.
You can't go wrong with the special, delicious meal of the week at Cafe Oliveto. Their pizza and pasta are top notch. On Monday nights, they offer a great deal on Parma and Pepsi, with meals cooked fresh to order.
