Cafe Palmelita - Reservar una mesa

Went for a dessert after a walk. After waiting 15mins and no one attending to the table (despite two tables that arrived after us being served) we politely asked if we could order to be told to sit and wait outside until waiter arrives. After another 10mins and no show and another new table served we asked again. The waiter came out and swiped the table then told us to get up and swiped the chairs with bleach!!!???? Said she will be back in a sec. after another 5min of no one attending we got up and left. We live in Barcelona and are used to bad service but this was a whole new level of bad!

This kafeterian has so good looking cakes I would like to taste them all. But the ones we took this time gave no room for more. Just have to come back for excellent are the ones we choosed.

While visiting this city I stopped at this place: first konditorei since Mozart Konditorei in Vancouver, Canada. It was very enjoyable sitting inside having cake and coffee. Frendly staff.

We had an excellent piece of cake with tea and coffee here. Service was fast, price fair and the place was clean. We would revisit it when in La Laguna.

The sandwiches were delicious with fresh bread and croissant. The caramel frappe was to die for and the setting was wonderful.
