We travelled a long way specifically to come to this café and it was great. We were able to sit outside as it was a nice day. I hope we'll be able to visit again as it was so good. Full English for him, Classic American for me which was three American pancakes, two sausage patties, crispy bacon, two hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and maple syrup on the side. I added fresh fruit which was banana, strawberries and blueberries. The bottom of one of my pancakes was burnt but I didn't care enough to do anything about it. Best brunch ever ! We were lucky enough to stay not far from here when visited London and even luckier to get a table both times. The menu is amazing and caters for everyone’s tastes from smoothies to good old English to fancy assed avocado and chorizo with spicy hollandaise. Service is amazing and so friendly. I had smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, avocado, the tastiest bagel ever. My dinning companion had pancakes , bacon and maple syrup on our first visit and both were delicious. We sampled the menu every visit and the English cooked breakfast was amazing served in a heated frying pan to stop it getting cold. After seeing a few YouTube videos about this place, I decided to get the train to London 131 miles away and made this my first port of call on arrival. Great service, great food and great value. The owner Paul couldn't do enough to make sure whatever you wanted to eat was catered for. Lovely small touches like nice glass bottles of fridge cold water put on the table without even asking (which on a hot muggy day was very much welcomed) I had the full English which was one of the most expensive items on the menu at £14.95 but consisted of 2 sausages, bacon, mushrooms, beans (in a separate ramekin), white pudding, black pudding, 2 eggs (I had mine scrambled) tomatoes, bubble and squeak AND 2 sl...
Three of us dined at this restaurant, where the food was fresh and of excellent quality. The owner and chef, Paul, made us feel very welcome, promising to cook whatever we desired, and he delivered on that promise. If you enjoy breakfast, this is the perfect place to visit, with options ranging from a full English breakfast to American dishes, as well as plenty of vegetarian and healthy choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future.

Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast or a full lunch, this cafe is fantastic. I have been a regular at this cafe for several years. The food is delicious, and the owner, Paul, is always coming up with new and innovative ways to cook. They offer traditional breakfast and lunch options as well as unique and creative dishes. The service from Paul, Daria, and the rest of the team is always top-notch - friendly, courteous, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this cafe.
Came here for a spot of brunch with friends and was blown away by the whole experience. The service was welcoming and friendly you can't help but feel at home. Quaint and cared for this place has everything you want for a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Cafe Paolo are quite simply the best. The food is fresh, tastes great and the portions are out of this world! Paul and the staff have only ever been nothing but friendly and welcoming even when they’re swept off their feet and the extensive menu has something for everyone! 10/10. Love this place!!
The breakfast at this restaurant is fantastic, with excellent service to match. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, it is definitely worth it. However, please be aware that prices have recently gone up and the website is not current.
