the restaurant is very vegan friendly. they can choose their pancake and order it vegan. The pancakes are very large and thick it is not a snack, but a real day-sender pancake with vegetables that is usually seen with acid, is served with vegan cream cheese in the vegan version, which I could even choose between crumble cream cheese and paprika. it was very tasty, but I found the pancake with mushrooms and swirl even better. very friendly staff and beautiful terrace.

pancake restaurant with cozy seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. pfanncakes are prepared on request vegan (they have to look at what you need, I had baked e.g. apples). also very lush. haferdrink is present, coffee therefore does not have to be drunk black. service was also very friendly. if we are back in cuxhaven, we will surely return

We sat in the garden which was full of bees and butterflies : The pancakes are real thick pancakes, not crepes, so very filling. The pancakes can be made vegan and then you just pick the vegan toppings. They don't have vegan cheeses and meats. Reserva una mesa ahora

very nice operation that goes on any request. almost everything can be vegan prepared. the portions are quite large, you prefer to order a children's pancake with only 18cm and then you can always share a dessert.

"Valentine's Day is something very special for many couples in love, and so this day has been celebrated for many years and shamelessly exploited by the (lumen) industry. I have also come to temptation many years ago and have bought my wife completely overpriced cut flowers which have finally landed on the compost after not even a week. We give nothing this day, the little gestures and gifts over the course of the year are ultimately a happy relationship. The only ritual we have been cultivating for many years this day is the visit to a gastronomy. It should not be the village pub around the corner, but it can be a good restaurant this day. Since we were again on Valentine's Day for our winter holiday in Cuxhaven, I had to look for a suitable gastronomy. Google and GG were helpful here, and so I quickly came to the restaurant “Sea-Terrassen” right behind the dike at the port. The ratings here and on the net were mostly positive, and so we had to test this once. The table reservation worked excellent on the restaurant website, a confirmation email came after a short time. Valentine's day was secure. Lake terraces Cuxhaven in the dusk With the mobile base it went to the restaurant, parking is enough available. On the way to the restaurant, the view over the dike grazes on the world cruise, the sailor and the ferry port of Cuxhaven. From here you have a good look at Ballbeacon. The restaurant was still quite orphaned at our entrance shortly after 6:00, but the reserved signs point to the tables to which it is still full today. So it also happened that the restaurant was finally occupied until the last place, and guests who had not reserved before had to be sent again until then. View over the dike to the port We were greeted by a friendly young gentleman and led to our place in the back of the restaurant. The house or restaurant is semi-circular, at each window there is a table. A small empire in the interiors houses other places. Guest rooms on the Empore Large tables provide enough space for the food, on the wide, softly padded leather chairs you sit very pleasant. The restaurant is modern, decorated with style elements from the shipment as well as photos from the old Cuxhaven. A pleasant, secret atmosphere. Unfortunately, the coming darkness destroyed the view of the lake, but the passing lights announced the merciful driving on the world naval path to Hamburg. Fantastic view of the world shipping route The young gentleman gave us the big menu, illuminated the candle on the table and discreetly removed. So we could first pick up our drinks, the food was just short, but the selection was very lush. After a few minutes had passed, we were politely asked if we already had a drink request. Yes, we had, and so we ordered as drinks: · 1x 0.4ér Jever Pilsner for 4,80 € · 1x 0.4ér KiBa for 4,60 € · 1x 0.2ér Thomas Henry Tonic Water for 2,90 € · 1x 0.2ér storm wine Aprilweather from the winery Sturm from the Palatinate for 6,50 € Now we could devote ourselves to the menu, because until the drinks were almost 10 minutes. Extract from the menu We were now safe, and so we ordered: As appetizers: · 1x carrot ginger soup as a day soup for 5,00 € · 1x fish soup sea terraces – a clear fish soup with vegetables, fish inlay and house bread for 7.50 € As main dishes: · 1x band noodles “vegetarisch” with cherry tomato tomato tomato I was pleased that I was able to do this again with a Nordic beer, the delicious and really beautiful herbs Jever Pilsner. mmmmh delicious Frisian herbs Jever Pilsner There were still Radeberger Pils from home to decide, but at Jever Pils my decision was fixed immediately. Also the dry Pinot of my wife, who calls himself a stormy wine Aprilweather, was a very rich wine. Also the KiBa KirschBanane juice was thoroughly mixed, which really only a few guest roses really will be good. Both juices were clearly separated from each other. Now we thought we had enough time for our drinks to rethink the day, but far missed, because after 5 minutes our two preliminary sheds were on the table. That's okay, because I think the soups are already ready in the kitchen waiting for the guests. My wife had chosen the carrot ginger soup, which was offered today as a day soup. A strong yellow/orange soup was served on a large, deep plate. The soup was coarsely spiced and slightly sharp, and today she enjoyed her palate, although she did not have to observe the temperature of the soup to brew it. Just delicious. Carrot ginger soup as a day soup I had opted for the fish soup sea terraces. A steaming hot and clear fish soup was served in a closed ceramic pot. Fish soup Sea terraces In the strong tasty broth there were small cut vegetables from carrot and porridge as well as abundant fish inlay from salmon and cod. Two large shrimps were the trembling of soup. The fresh house bread, rather baguette, was soft butter, the crust was beautiful pink. A great fish soup I haven't had for a long time. There the kitchen really started to prepare immediately after our order. The band noodles “vegetaric” had chosen our big ones today. A large bowl of biss-resistant noodles, refined with fresh cherry tomatoes and spicy, homemade pesto served. Many leaves of fresh rocket brought additional spices into the bowl. By the pesto, however, the band noodles were slightly oily, but fortunately kept within limits. Band noodles “vegetarian” with cherry tomatoes, homemade pesto and rocket My wife wanted the North Sea Limandes. This was fried as 3 large filets where the kitchen caught the Limandes on the point. The fillet was wonderfully soft, the case slightly pink. Although Limandes is less powerful in its own taste, the mild aroma of the Limande came to fruit here. The roast potatoes like with nuts with bacon and onions, slightly spicy and cherry roasts. Simply refined with parsley, so delicious. As a sauce for the fish my wife could choose between Hollandaise, Remoulade, Butter and mustard sauce. She chose the homemade Remoulade, which was ultimately a good decision. The Remoulade was placed in a glass, was creamy and mild spicy, simply delicious. The salad served the season and consisted of fresh tomatoes, peppers, onion and rocket, refined with grapes. Top. North Sea Limandesfilet roasted with roasted potatoes, Remoulade and salad I wanted to try something else today, and decided for cod from the oven. In a large cast-one ice dish, several strong fillets from cod were served here, prepared with slightly boiling salt potatoes, fresh, halved mushrooms and small quarter tomatoes. Cod from the oven with salt potatoes, pimientos, mushrooms, tomatoes and goat cheese on top then baked with a lot of goat cheese. Several pimientos, small green, still unripe peppers, gave the whole a special, specific peep. the Pimientos The cod was so tender that it collapsed during cutting. The spicy sauce perfectly harmonized the whole dish. I decided right, and here was something completely different with fish. Delicious. We were very happy with our food. In the meantime, the young man came to the table again and again and wondered if everything was okay. You could order one or the other beverage order in time. He was supported by several young ladies who did nothing in kindness and service. This chain and friendly way I experienced last time a year on our cruise with one of the Hapag Lloyd ships. Here. Chef Jan Fitter, who runs other restaurants in Cuxhaven, has built an unlikely large team. Our conclusion: We left €84.30 in the lake terraces in Cuxhaven. "Somehow the worm was in, and this year we did not like to introduce the kitchen in our house. So we decided to go early into various new guestros for us. So also here, in the restaurant and beer resort “Sturmflut” directly at the ferry terminal to Helgoland. The Storm Flood is another place of Cuxhaven gastronomic Jan Fitter, who also runs the lake terraces where we were very satisfied on Valentine's Day. The lake terraces are in sight, so we could expect top gastronomy again. Restaurant The reservation was also made online in this place, the confirmation by email was in the mailbox the next morning. So we went to the ferry port in the evening. If not a stormy flood, get the mobile base in the parking lot of the ferry terminal, a few parking spaces are also located right in front of the restaurant. With storm flood or flooding it is difficult to reach the place. When entering the building you feel like in a railway station hall, there are also tickets for the Helgoland ferry and the toilets of the restaurant "Sturmflut". The left hand is the entrance to the restaurant. Maritim modernly designed, you want to attract guests and shorten the possible waiting time for the ferry. Entrance to the restaurant We came to the restaurant and were greeted by a young team. The online booking was checked and then we were led by the lady responsible for us to our reserved place. The restaurant consists of the actual part of the building, where the large counter is also accommodated, a large conservatory adds to the restaurant. Both rooms were very well visited, kitchen and service had good to do. Here in the conservatory we sat at a large table, the softly padded chairs invite you to a longer stay. Despite the large glass surfaces was pleasantly warm, on the day you have a wonderful view from here directly into the ferry port and on the world shipping route. Winter garden The restaurant is modern, the lighting is a bit cumbersome, almost too dark. Probably even the gypsum column is too cumbersome, the one or the other spider had made himself comfortable on the Sim window and also occasionally coughed over the window board. The extensive menu, similar to the sea terraces, was given to us during sitting, but after that we were not taken into account for a quarter of an hour. Nevertheless, the place was well visited, but was not full, the tables, except those that were just served were skillfully ignored by all service personnel. There was also no shy handlift. After more than a quarter of an hour we were finally considered, we had finished our mission. After the first sip of the more juicy, caffeine-containing drink, our great man left her face and after a sip I could give her only right. We left the Cola with a corresponding comment. It was exchanged for a cola with carbonic acid, not a word of apology. Also the hint on the dirty table overheard the good lady. But probably she didn't recognize it when it was a shameful light. Sure is not easy to use, but that our soups were partially boiled in their bowls to the edge, not only looked unsightly, even the cream on the salmon cream soup was no longer in their place. Unlike the lake terraces where the fish soup was served in a closed ceramic pot, it came here in a large bowl. As she looked, she also tasted. The taste was quite different and did not remember a salmon soup. But it was delicious. This soup here was also made with many salmon cubes and smoked salmon, in addition also a cloth and a Klecks cream on the top. Again, the house bread was this dead slice of white bread. is not a clear soup, and you can see clearly the edge of Knapp 25 minutes later our main dishes came. Luckily there was nothing to swallow here. At least the plates were visually in order. My wife chose the fish plate “Small Storm Flood” today. The large fish plate was too much for her, but even the “small” had it in itself. Fish plate “Small Storm Flood” – roasted redfish fillet, salmon fillet, roasted potatoes and remoulade A large roasted redfish fillet and a salmon fillet that covered in size the redfish in nothing after half of the plate. Both fillets were crispy on the outside, both salmon and redfish were still very fresh and juicy inside. Both fish unfolded their own taste. Even with roast potatoes it was noticed that at least the kitchen had something on it. Self-made frying potatoes with bacon, onion and lynx, fried, slightly seasoned. And the best, not even fat. That's how we get roast potatoes. Also the Remoulade was good, although I was more of Convenience here. Fish plate “Small Storm Flood” – roasted redfish fillet, salmon fillet, roasted potatoes and Remoulade The Great had again taken up the Lachsburger. A large burger with 2 thick, juicy salmon fillets, fresh salad, cucumber and tomatoes was served. In the meantime roast onions and fresh, sharp onions. Lachsburger – Lachsfilet, Röstzwiebeln, rustikales Brötchen und Knobi-Dip mit Steakhouse-Pommes Top on the salmon fillet still a small stick of a dark remoulade. Immediately after the turn, I was allowed to try this really delicious dish in our partner firefighter in Ottersberg, not far from Bremen. Since then, it doesn't make me go right and when I'm in the north, I'm trying to eat it. So here again in Cuxhaven, and here in the storm flood I have to say that the kitchen has on it. Labskaus has a great tradition and is a North German, regional speciality and consists of pork breast, potatoes and red beet root, which is boiled and then finally gelled by the meat grinder or the like, is seasoned with salt and pepper and served with eggs, spice cucumbers and roller mops.
