My review on this place is all about atmosphere. Not only, when you go there you know you're home. I am from speyer, live in the United States, however, our first stop is always Cafe pluesch. I know Tony the owner, is a good friend...of ours. He goes out of his way to make his customer feel comfortable. A very smart and unique person he is. You can find all kinds of folks in that Cafe artists, politicians, writers and tourist. The food is good it's not called Hausmanns cost Flammkuchen, vegetarian foods, pizza, and other food items . the caffe is beautiful in a side street and is not overrun by tourist. you can still enjoy the (ear) view on the dom outside. the interiors are allowed for smokers. we wanted to drink a caffe and eat a piece of cake; the cheese-made cheesecake was fresh and very tasty. however, the drinks were below average: the coffees brought were covered by an oily film and tasted chemically, and a rest (filtered coffee?) powder/granulat could be discovered on the edge; the cup in which the tee was located was gray-breasted and very unsightly. the cake card offers minimal selection (3 sorts.) everything in all we would not go there again, speyer offers with safety better places to enjoy coffee and cake.
