Don't be put off by the garish front of house metal furniture the food is very good and cooked in house. This patisserie goes back some years given the wonderful photos on the walls inside. It's not cheap but the food is lovely. I recommend the buckwheat galette (savoury thin pancake) with roquefort and walnut, simply perfect. An ideal light lunch bite on what was a steaming hot day. Accompanied by cold water and ice, with a small jug of freshly squeezed lemon and a pouring jug of white sugar to add as your taste dictates. The service was great, friendly and they were happy to let me have the galette recipe. We did not buy any of the cakes from the patisserie but we were witness to local aft...
My wife and I had coffee and a croissant here one Saturday morning. Café Pompon is right in the centre of shopping area. As well as being a café it was also a 'salon de thé'. It listed two dozen different teas in the menu and a dozen crêpes as well. There was a fine collection of lemon cake slices on display. Mouth-watering they were and there was a regular procession of people coming in to buy some. There were about 40 brightly coloured seats packed in but it was bright and cheerful place. Note that the toilet is upstairs.
Points positifs : service rapide, personnel correct, cadre correct, carte fournie de galettes, omelettes, salades, croque monsieur etc. Gâteaux appétissants et carte de thés assez large. Toilettes propres Points négatifs : jus d'orange pressée servi sans carafe d'eau ni sucre à côté. Crêpes bonnes mais sans le petit goût de beurre salé sinon aimé tant !
Amazing we attempted to visit when they were closing they explained to come back the next day. We did we sat inside and they are lovely the staff, the crepes everything really wished we could have gone back again before we left. Thank you for the hospitality and for allowing our dogs to come inside into the corner. Loved the crepes

Hier wurde man herzlich begrüßt und es gab auch richtig leckere Sachen zu essen. Von Crepes bis hin zu super deftigen Mahlzeiten gibt es französische Spezialitäten die das Herz begehrt. Unserer Familie hat es hier sehr gut gemundet und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
J'aime cette ambiance un peu à l'ancienne dans un décor un peu flashi mais bon, ce qui compte c'est ce que l'on a dans l'assiette et je ne suis jamais déçue. Quoi que l'on prenne, tout est très bien cuisiné, le service est rapide. ne pas hésiter à s'y rendre.
je n'ai jamais mangé un si bon cake au citron moelleux et très goûtu.le salon de thé est agréable, un peu petit, mais le pâtisseries sont excellentes !!!!
Une tarte tatin et cacke citron bio pourquoi pas se laisser seduire par un chocolat chaud maison et un service bien sympathique
