Cafe Raffaelo - Reservar una mesa

After a beautiful day spent in charming Donauworth I decided to have a drink at the terrace of this restaurant as it looked so attractive to sit at the river bank and enjoy late afternoon sun rays. The cocktail I chose (I forgot its name) was tasty and it could be an enjoyable end of the trip if there was not such a bad atmosphere. I could hear shouting from inside of the restaurant which sounded like boss not being satisfied with his team. It was so unprofessional and disturbing. And although every single waiter was friendly and caring not only to me but also to other guests I didn´t feel well there and left as quickly as possible.

First Day in Germany and we ran across Ristorante Cafe Faffaello walking through Donauworth. The food was excellent as well as the location. Right on the edge of a creek with ducks, people were picking apples along the water, located on the gate entrance into Donauworth.

On a sunny day, we had a lunch at outside terrace, which has very relaxing atmosphere. We had a salad with Spargel and Lachs and a pasta. The pasta was not well done but al dente. This is very unusual for an Italian restaurant in Germany. This made me quite happy.

The title and the other reviews say it all. This is a great place for dinner and drinks. There is a lovely patio our side and a good fusion of Italian and German cuisine.

A place with a pleasant atmosphere. The portions are generous in size and tasteful. The wait staff is professional and courteous. recommended
