We were recommended this by someone working in the RNLI shop on the pier and it didnt disappoint. Arrived at 9;00am on a Sunday morning , met by a really friendly man. We had the bacon and egg sandwich and tea coffee. The samdwiches were gorgeous...perfect Sunday morning livener. Had a chat as we were leaving, which was really nice..... Why go to a big commercial chain like McDonalds when there is a lovely friendly place like this
Went here because we read the reviews about it being the best fish and chips in southend. The husband ordered the large cod and chips, me the jacket beans. Mine was fine, can 't go wrong with a spud. The large cod and chips were borderline small. Fish was so thin it was skin with batter for 75% of it. Really wanted this place to be brilliant, Very disappointed it wasn 't even average
Lovely staff, Smiles with service. Breakfast did the job. I would rather toast than fried bread though, I didn’t mind but it would be nice to have the option. We asked for lattés but they tasted like sachet ones or like they had some kind of caramel or toffee flavour in? My partner couldn’t drink his as he didn’t like it.
I’m not the greatest fan of fish and chips, but being by the seaside, it has to be done. This was amazing. The batter on my cod was delicate and crispy. The fish inside was cooked to perfection. The chips were great too. I stayed for ice cream. Highly recommend Reserva una mesa ahora
