Cafe Republica - Reserva de mesa

Cafe Republica is newly opened and currently not very well advertised, so is largely unknown to our circle of friends etc. My wife and I dined here on Feb We wanted to try somewhere new and were pleased that we chose this establishment....I chose the fillet steak and my wife had the chicken scallopini (special). We were very pleased with our choices. We also enjoyed our desserts. Vicky, the manager, was very nice and attentive, as was the waitress. We wish Cafe Republica all the very best for the future. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.

Dined here with friends two weeks ago. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious! The menu isn't extensive, but we found sufficient variety to suit most palates (and I am a bit fussy The wine list is rather limited (unfortunately), but we did find a...red wine to suit and it was quite adequate. Service isn't super fast (especially when busy), but we found it well paced on this occasion and will definitely go back based on this experience. Staff were very friendly, a rarity these days in many establishments!

The service was efficient although the meals took a long time, byo wine is great. The food was very average, very plain and no different to what anyone would cook at home on a week night. the steak was over cooked, the gnocchi plain with...what tasted like a basic tin of tomatoes with maybe garlic on a bed of raw spinach and shavings of Parmesan. we wanted to like it, it is local and fairly new. We wont be back.

Booked on the spur of the moment as had driven passed several times and off the main roads......so glad we did. Service was great, although a quiet night, the food was fantastic my wife had the scallop fettuccine it was so fresh, brilliant and I...had the whole flounder with burnt butter sage sauce and Italian vegetables on the side. I would have to say this is one of the best nights out we have had for a long time. It was our 41st Anniversary. I would have no hesitation saying this best meal I have had in along long time. I would recommend this to anyone who loves good food.Prices were on line with lots of restaurants around . SERVICE was unbelievable. This was a great experience, food service, I would go back again tomorrow.

I have eaten there a few times now, for lunch, but mostly for dinner. Sometimes with friends and twice for a family occasion. We have a few food restrictions amongst us that can make it hard to feed us, but I have been so pleased...each time at how accommodating they are. The meals have been lovely, and can personally recommend the calamari and steak.

We went for a work dinner, the menu is very basic. I am not a gourmet chef but could do better myself. The staff stand around and watch you eat which is weird and off putting. The place has no ambience and I had trouble...deciding what to eat as it was so similar to what I had eaten during the week at home. Reserva una mesa ahora

Service and food is first class, waitress was all smiles and very attentive , for main i had the chicken beast very good, and tasty will be back again

Group of four friends. Two meals good, two meals very average. Unable to have coffee as waitress could use the milk machine.
