Visited twice with my family and found the staff very good, spoke English which does help. Having said that if you go to Quedlinburg don 't expect to much spoken or written English, not that it mattered to us probably why we loved it so...much. As said above staff were very good as were the cakes leave any weight problems at the café door enjoy
We arrived on a sunny saturday afternoon at around PM for coffee and hot chocolate and took one of the last empty tables on the terrace. None of the waiters found it necessary to give us a menu. After minutes we got one....The coffee was bad, too weak. Well before closing time they started to remove the chair cushions. We did not feel welcome.
