Bijou was like a bright oasis in the dessert, emotions due not only to my state at the time of a wet, cold and hungry dog! Even in the clouds and rain the quaintness shone through! It is right on a beautiful river nestled between an ivy covered hill with walking paths and a large bridge with beautiful architecture. Once I shook off the rain, got a bathroom run in and settled in, I felt more like a human being with each passing minute. The service was beautiful and I was especially grateful they spoke English. After some google translate of the menu I got the Flammkuchen Fromage and HOLY COW was it good! It tasted like a focaccia di recco which is a favorite of mine. Didn't exactly work like...

My recent visit was marked by a mix of service experiences, ranging from exemplary to disheartening. While some of the waiters showcased the best service in the industry with their warm demeanor and attentiveness, a few others seemed to be in a sour mood, impacting the overall experience. Regrettably, the beautiful cordon bleu dish also fell short of expectations, lacking the desired tenderness and flavor.

Wonderful place by the river, with greenery, in a restful atmosphere. Good service. Unfortunately the ice cream is far from tasty. Chocolate is like selecta hot chocolate with a hint of milk. Straciatella like condensed milk with water and chocolate bits.

Green asparagus with hollandaise sauce and ham were very good, the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. It's nice to sit outside with a view of the Reuss.
