Bijou was like a bright oasis in the dessert, emotions due not only to my state at the time of a wet, cold and hungry dog! Even in the clouds and rain the quaintness shone through! It is right on a beautiful river nestled between an ivy covered hill with walking paths and a large bridge with beautiful architecture. Once I shook off the rain, got a bathroom run in and settled in, I felt more like a human being with each passing minute. The service was beautiful and I was especially grateful they spoke English. Wonderful place by the river, with greenery, in a restful atmosphere. Good service. Unfortunately the ice cream is far from tasty. Chocolate is like selecta hot chocolate with a hint of milk. Straciatella like condensed milk with water and chocolate bits.

Green asparagus with hollandaise sauce and ham were very good, the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. It's nice to sit outside with a view of the Reuss.
Very poor food. Not the best staff. The view is ok. The price food ratio is super bad. Not recommended.
Beautifully located restaurant with a garden. Somewhat small card. Nice starting point for Reuss hikes.
