This is a rare find in the area of so-so restaurants, pizzerias and somewhat slim offerings. Classic warm rustic home feel. Beautiful terrace as well as warm and cozy dining rooms. Staff is attentive and caring. Food is excellent. Great place to sample local cuisine. We watched a very artful and careful preparation os salmon tartare at the next table and we will return just for that. The waiter was attentive and caring. Great experience We will be back often.
We were really looking forward to this meal... Unanimously, we were disappointed by the quality of the meal. Pretty meh. Just like the decor/ambience of the room upstairs. Very nice idea, but we really need to take better care of the quality and freshness of the ingredients (we suspect canned or frozen products). The taste of 'homemade ' was not there at all, unfortunately. We had to chew the beef...: Bitter coffee.
Only comment here on the terrace and the drink list. Wines by the glass are pretty uninspiring and we are in the heart of Lavaux, so its a shame. Service was inexistant. Nevertheless the food menu looks good and I will try a dinner indoors and see if it holds up the promise.
I can only recommend the spring menu it was absolutely delicious. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. If you ever have the chance you need to try their salads (starter) the best I have ever eaten! Just be careful to leave some room for the rest....... Reserva una mesa ahora
