Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine freundichen und angenehmen Mittagstisch zu geniessen, feines plat du jour. Es gab Lammbraten, Bohnen und Pellkartoffeln für schlappe Fr. 19.- dazu einen knackigen Salat mit dressing zur Auswahl. Nette, aufmerksame Bedienung, wirklich toll. Ein sehr sympathischer Empfang und ebenso freundlicher Abschied. Klar man wünschte sich mehr Tageslicht, das Restaurant in der Altstadt ist leider etwas schummerig (fehlende Fenster, da kann man wohl kaum was ändern). Da es aber ein regnischer Sommertag war, konnten wir damit gut leben. Bei sonnigem Wetter könnte man draussen unter den Bäumen essen. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll angenehm, ein spannendes Spiel der Kontrast...
It was a great surprise to find such a beautiful restaurant in this tiny picturesque village in the swiss country very close to Neuchatel.The building outside is very well maintained and inside is a nice surprise to find unusual chandeliers and old wooden beams on...the ceiling.The cold duck liver tart tatin was a wonderful surprise with its warm brioche and pear slices.Very tasty the curry prawns served with perfectly roasted fresh pineapple and rice.Original the orange cake served with fresh passion fruit. Wines also by the glass and very kind service.For lunch there are always some special for a cheap price and the dinner menu is very intriguing .....stuffed guinea fowl leg with fois gras...
The waitress who served us was very attentive and friendly. The cuisine was up to the standard we expected but there were a couple of negative points the a amuse-bouche a small soup was lukewarm and one of our starters, sliced scallops rolled...in smoked salmon, the slices were so thin that they were almost transparent! Otherwise everything else was perfect.
Tafel an der Strasse, Tartar/Frites für 19.--. Bestellt, ausgezeichnet gespiesen, hat dann aber 29.-- gekostet! Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Tische im Garten sehr wackelig und daher unangenehm, Stühle ebenfslls billig.... Schade, da könnte mit wenig Aufwand etwas Grossartiges entstehen!

Delicious dinner with a subtle Portuguese influence. Service was perfect for us; attentive and friendly, without being obtrusive.
Preis Leistung super. Besonders faire Mittagsmenus. Portionen dürften etwas grösser sein aber alles in allem wunderbar.
