However, my meal at this particular Cafe Rio location was very good and may have rekindled my interest. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant was much cleaner than the Lynnwood, WA location. One consistent complaint I have about Cafe Rio is their unwillingness to accommodate substitutions, but since I just ordered a salad this time and didn’t request any changes, it didn’t impact my experience. I plan to try one of their locations in my new hometown in the Pacific Northwest and see if the quality remains high, but this visit definitely left a positive impression on me.
