I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food, the great prices, and generous portion sizes were impressive. I ordered the sweet barbacoa burrito enchilada style, and it was absolutely fantastic! I loved watching the staff prepare the handmade tortillas right in front of me, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The meat was tender, flavorful, and plentiful, with just the right amount of sweetness that complemented the other flavors perfectly. When served enchilada style, the burrito is smothered in cheese and salsa of your choice, then warmed to melt the cheese—delicious! I was disappointed with my meal. I had ordered pork tacos, but what I received was bland chicken instead. As for the guacamole and chips, the guacamole was so heavily spiced that I could only manage to eat two chips with it. I tried mixing it, hoping to distribute the spices more evenly, but that didn't make a difference. I did finish the tacos, but the $8+ I spent on the guacamole and chips felt like a complete waste of money.

Surprisingly good food. Cafe Rio is not in Canada, so I thought I would try and I am pleasantly impressed. Fresh tortillas, open kitchen, so you can see the food, and the taste was so on the spot better than typical Mexican chain or even full service restaurants. Very recommended.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. 17$ for 2 tacos that had 4 pieces of steak in it. Not to mention the meat was TERRIBLE. Husband got a 16$ burrito and same issue. Probably one of the worst Mexican places Ive ever had. Thankfully after sending pictures door dash gave us a refund. Reserva una mesa ahora

I could hug the person who packed this order! They placed the beans in little cups, so my quesadilla stayed perfectly bean-free. Everything was organized, and they even included a mint with my silverware. I feel so appreciated. The food was excellent, as always.

The first time Cafe Rio tries. Great food! The steak tacos, rice and beans were delicious. Hubby ordered the cheese Enchiladas with red sauce, it is now his new favorite place for Enchiladas.

Everything was DELICIOUS. best Enchiladas and Burritos. Chips salsa were the BEST. I wish I could do it every day, but I'm in NC. We ordered by UberEats and it was perfect.

Fresh and delicious! Each enchilada was generously stuffed with well-seasoned meat. I also loved the taste of the cilantro-lime rice. Very good!

The burrito was extremely soggy upon delivery and large horchata was filled to the brim with nugget ice so there was literally less than 5 sips
