"This location REGULARLY does not use first in first out. I have seen this in person multiple times. Tonight it was the rice and black beans. I've seen this done with the meats as well. I try to order only what I've seen is fresh because since they aren't FIFO, who knows how old that food is. I wish this wasn't the closest location to me. Other locations I've been in do FIFO."

I got to this Cafe Rio location at 9:51 PM (the time of closing on the door said 10:00 PM). No chairs up on tables yet. Doors not locked. At least 12 employees standing around. I walked in and a teenager ran up to me and said Ma 'am we 're closed in an unfriendly tone. I calmly looked at my phone to make sure of the time and it said 9:52 PM. I said you 're clearly open. And in addition, all I want is tortilla soup, nothing else. Easy order. And they all just stood there behind the hot grills and cash register and no one said anything. They just stared. One of the worst qualities of food I?ve ever received and I never would have expected it from Cafe Rio. Never ordering from the company again. My husband and I both ordered via Grubhub the food arrived super fast which was nice because I thought that would mean the food would be fresh and warm. Not only did it somehow arrive cold, but we also received half size portions of our food. This is all the meat and rice and beans? I don?t even then there is beans in this and this is the amount of lettuce. The only thing that I think came with the proper amount of portion was the dressing. WORST CAFE RIO I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. As we walked in all of the employees were sitting on the side table and stared at us as we walked in. Than when we ordered a sweet pork burrito and sweet pork quesadilla we got the very ends of the pork so basically just juice. And after opening up the food there was basically little to no meat. This is not my first time experiencing horrible customer service and rude employees at this location. So have you're self the $20 and go to different Cafe Rio. I?m not normally one to complain but this is not cool to be treated like this 3 times as loyal customers of Cafe Rio. So please get some new management
It?s so sad to go to this location now.. Never a great experience anymore. The girl taking our order seemed so irritated and was so rude as if it was an inconvenience for us to show up. She was making the cheese tortillas ?fresh? by putting a glob of cheese in the center, letting it sit for 30 seconds (no, it?s not melted), then proceeding to make our salad. My husband and I were so shocked on how unprofessional and rude she was. Never have I ever experienced anything like that. Customer service is non existent here.
