Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

I had a disappointing experience at Cafe Rio in YLTC. The place was quite messy, and when I mentioned to the staff that it was the sloppiest location I've ever visited, they just laughed it off. The lack of cleanliness is concerning, and I’ve actually gotten sick from their food in the past. I really enjoy Cafe Rio and have been hopeful for improvements, but unfortunately, it seems to be getting worse. I'm puzzled as to how they remain in business. This location clearly lacks cleanliness and organization, so I would recommend visiting a different location if you're craving Cafe Rio!

Total rip off. $15 for a chicken burrito with barely any meat or flavor. Tons of lazies behind the counter asking ridiculous questions over and over Want lettuce? Want pico? Want cilantro? Want it wet? What? This is after reading a confusing pick your path menu ... What really got me was their misleading advertising a huge sign where the line starts showing $1 50 for a Birria taco. I ordered one with my burrito. Turns out it was $6. The cashier gave me some incoherent reason re why it increased in price 4x..This place not only sucks, it 's money grabbing. Not going again.

What happened here? Pre-pandemic the place was packing-food and service were good. First time back since post-pandemic and the food quality is still present but the service is lacking. Service is okay to decent and some of the staff do put in effort but the morale vibe seems to be very low. Place just seems dead. On a weeknight hardly anyone there. Feel sad for the restaurants post-pandemic.

I have to say, I've had my fair share of Cafe Rio—probably an excessive amount—but tonight's meal was a true masterpiece! Thank you for making my taste buds come alive and my stomach feel incredibly happy! Mmmmm…. I think I’m ready for a nap now, dreaming of the delicious beef, steak, and the red enchilada sauce! I am fairly new to the area and I loved it, the food was really delicious! The steak was made to perfection. It was my first time here so I wasn’t sure what to order but Daniel I think was his name… he was really helpful. The tortillas are made fresh there, I will definitely be coming back again!

This is a fantastic spot for a burrito featuring freshly made tortillas. All the meats are well-seasoned, making for a delicious meal at any time. If you're ordering more than a few items, I highly recommend going in to place your order rather than using the online service or app.

Rodgers the Musical is an excellent show since DCA last had a show in the Hyperion theater ?. A must see! Would definitely see this again!

My quesadillas was good, came with many sauces. My burrito was okay. It was something quick and fresh.
