we came together with our German guests and wanted to take four of them to two tiny little tables, when a waitress came in and - grußlos - said "two tables? that is not possible! the one is reserved anyway!" but what they did not look at him. we should be happy with one! Now, maybe two of us would have been tolerated under the table - it was at least four on a two-way table too narrow, and we were looking for the width.FAZIT: sacher graz - no sign for grazer friendliness.
We were there on Saturday, 11 March 2023 at noon. When the waiter saw that we were tourists who only spoke English he started acting extremely rude and yelling at us out of nowhere. Of course we left without ordering because no one can treat us like that! Nonetheless, we made sure to tell all of our friends who will visit Graz soon to never set foot there.
in a nice ambiente you get here besides coffee and flour meals also eat in very good quality. I decided to make the ass suppenpot as an appetizer and the season accordingly for spa gel with kartoffels and sauce hollandaise as a main dish and was very satisfied with my choice. the prices are still reasonable, the staff is very friendly.

yes, there are the places of the cake. and yes, it was named after the hotel in wien. but the apfelstrudel with impact is still the absolute favorite here for me. the coffee is anyway top and the service is one of the best in graz.
the cafes is one of the best cafes in graz. I'm very proud that this is one of our cultures. it represents Austria. I like to take the torts as a gift.
