This café is typically German and offers amazing German/Austrian pastries such as apfelstrudel, black forest cakes and other cream-filled German cakes. The menu also features a large assortment of German beers, herbal teas and hot chocolate. The pastries we ate were amazing and they made me instantly fall in love with German pastries (which I had never tried before that). The apfelstrudel was delicious, I hesitated to ask for a second one but decided to be reasonable diet-wise. The service is very fine and the atmosphere very cosy and calm. This cafe offers mainly bakery goods. It has quite a variety of cakes, and breakfast food. The coffee is excellent. I could imagine visiting this bakery more often if in the area.

Visited this cafe after the castle tour to find ice cream for the family. Portions were massive and although quite costly 7€ each, kids loved their Sundae ice cream choices.

the apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce is excellent. there is also an equally good version with patches. also the other cakes are super appetizing

Good service and good location. This place is just 10 minutes walk from Schloss Sigmaringen. I love the cakes! :
