Cafe Taglich - Reserva de mesa

We were just at Weinachs Markt in Cologne and it was very hard to find somewhere to eat dinner, as everything was booked. This little restaurant, with only 5 or 6 tables, was not crowded, and in the Alter Markt. The meal turned out to be one of the best we had in a week in Germany. The heringstopf was some of the best herring I had all week, eating herring every day. The salads were very good. Service was a bit slow, as the bartender was also the waiter. It is also one of the few places in Cologne where you can have a 500ml beer instead of the typical 200ml served in the city. Try it!!

I had been in there a few times and always liked the food. They have a real comfortable booth up front that looked like a good place to sit and read a book while having a beer. The staff thought otherwise. The lady behind the bar told me that the booth was for the owner and I could not sit there. The restaurant was completely empty and the owner was not even there.I will not go back but, in fairness, the food is good.

We were looking for a place to eat some traditional food in Altstadt of Cologne, and were super happy that we found this place! The food (traditional German!) was exceptional, as well as the beer. The surroundings were nice (street musician was playing old songs quite close to the bar - loved it!). And the best restaurant manager topped everything! Definitely a place to eat in Cologne!

Had a lovely meal and a few beers in this small restaurant. in the centre of the old town between city hall and st martins church. there are many seats outside with nice views of the old city hall, and we ate inside at back with view of st martins church. nice traditional German dishes on the menu and great beers. a great lunch. On the Alter Market area is Taglich, a small bar with a small dining area in the back. The waiter/ manager, Frank, is the best in the city, and the food was excellent German.

Was there a few times already; Always eat fresh and delicious! From price to very good. Beer nicely cooled; beautiful, rainy operation What do you want more?! Come on.

There are several bars and restaurants in a row here with tables outside and this one is good for a few beers sitting at the bar and being entertained by Frank. Reserva una mesa ahora

16. July spent a nice afternoon here with lots of cereals. The food was perfect and the service was super friendly. We look forward to the next time in a day

Just up here super eat super service super service and simply great ambience here on the old market only recommended!!!!
