Had lunch in this "industrial" and canteen like museum "bistro". (Völklinger Hütte).Service was quick and friendly.Good value for lunch: pasta around 7 Euros, "schnitzel" not veal but pork or chicken around 12 Euros.-drinks might be overpriced-came back for good "Kaffee und Kuchen" after the visit (Käsesahnekuchen)rustic openair beergarden with BBQ during summer available (cross the street)

a suitable caffe in the shade of the völklinger hütte. the kantine der hütte vom ambiente and so it appears. but that is meant to be positiw. ordinary cake, real coffee, reasonable selection of drinks, acceptable price. absolutely suitable for a quick reusable aftertaste. the tour.
High ceilings, rough old brick walls, high windows, the industrial character is kept alive in the large cafe. the food is good and solid, typical German fare. Good schnitzels. And very nice prices
