Cafe Venice - Reserva de mesa

Still not sure what to make of this place. We were one of two tables on a Sunday evening. Service was meh. Snowflake ice doesn’t work for most cocktails. Serving a Negroni up is not done and certainly not put in a martini glass. Garnishing drinks properly at those prices needs to be at least done correctly. The menu is interesting but not all available. After choosing an alternate entree a Margherita Pizza resulted in tomato paste on a crust with buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil. No tomatoes on the pizza but the paste. Any resemblance to a traditional Margherita pizza was purely coincidental. Getting a plain Diet Coke was problematic. Obviously the bar keep is not cleaning out the ice bin...

We went there for Valentine's Day 2020. The food was outstanding. I daresay the bolognese is the best I've had in Dallas. The biggest disappointment was the service. We waited probably 15 minutes before we were approached by waitstaff. It was another 10 minutes before they brought us menus and took our appetizer order. Once the entrée arrived I asked for a glass of montepulciano which did not arrive until after the entrée was completed. The only other negative was how bright and loud it was inside the restaurant. I would compare it to a high school cafeteria. Otherwise the experience was good and I would go back again for the food but not the service.

for the first time, eating was very, very good, although it wasn't very busy and I thought that the dings could take a little off, they weren't. Overall, I think that the menu was nicely varied, and I look forward to trying out many of the other delicious sounding dishes. valpolicella wein, excellent!

they simply love the Italian eating at the evenings, but breakfast / brunch was found as a sound! real okra! and the reuben was delicious. hard to say one of them. salat was fresh, mixed and very tasty. this will be a regular target of me. Reserva una mesa ahora

eating was great, not excellent, but good, the service was very slow, they can not only have a waiter on Saturday night I don't care how slow they are, in the restaurant industry they just never know when will happen

We were seated immediately and waited a while before a server found us. But once he did, the meal was incredible. Great food and we look forward to our next visit.

1st time here. A very almost overwhelming menu but plenty to choose from. Will definitely go back and try the vast menu items.
