Cafe Verde - Reservar una mesa

I'm very surprised with all the 5 star reviews that say this is authentic Mexican food. The only way you could call it authentic is if you compare it to Taco Time. It is a step up from Taco Time, but the food is just an ok fast food restaurant. The restaurant serves buffet style food - you point to the items you want and the staff dishes it up for you. I found it to be confusing, and the staff were cool and not very helpful. My food wasn't hot enough - just luke warm to the touch - and was fairly bland. I like my food hot all the way through and freshly made, but this food has been sitting in buffet pans and not kept at a hot temperature, which concerned me. The restaurant is one big room an...

Durante mi vista en Lethbridge me invitaron a comer a éste lugar, había leído comentarios no tan buenos, pero la verdad es que es diferente. La decoración es muy bonita, estilo pueblito con sus mesas y sillas coloridas, quizá le faltaría más decoración mexicana, algunos sombreros de mariachi o rebosos, incluso hasta papel picado quedaria bien. Tienen variedad de platillos y los precios son accesibles, el staff muy servicial y amable. El sabor de los platillos podría mejorar, en especial los frijoles negros. Algo que me pareció muy bueno fue el encontrar refresco jarritos, lo cuál me hizo recordar a mi México querido. Sin duda volvería a este lugar si algún día vuelvo por allá.

Though you may be intimidated by the menu selection and individual options for each menu item Cafe Verde makes it easy. Their approachable staff are happy to help with any questions you have and the food was created by a Mexican God Incarnate, each choice of meat is so delicious and they have a great selection of salsas from mild and sweet (which are amazing) to Diablo (burn your face off). Lots of toppings and choices. If you want Taco's in southern Alberta this is the place to go.

Wanted to eat Mexican while in Lethbridge and saw Cafe Verde. Ambiance is great and staff are helpful and friendly. Loved the wall menu with big pictures and descriptions. Lots of gluten free options. Food was excellent and extremely tasty. A lot of salsa selections. The only negative note is that I wished the prices per items was posted by their pictures. Overall great experience and I will go again on my next visit to Lethbridge.

I am not on FB so I missed their alerts and missed going to CF for a few months. Was very disappointed when they told me there lunch stamp card was no longer in affect months ago. The guy was rude to me in front of other customers. Decided to avoid going any more after I only needed 1 more lunch for a free one and the guy was so insensitive he wouldn't even listen to me and my case.

Very friendly staff willing to help with menu..There is a good variety of dishes and everything is made fresh in front of you. You choose what you want every step of the way.The portions are large and served cafeteria style. Everything is fresh and delicious

I ordered queso with tortilla chips, and boy, was I underwhelmedIt was the thinnest, most tasteless yellow liquid I've ever had.

Delicious, great meal. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The food was very good. Still as good as ever.
