We were in the forest for the first time today. Normally, my husband's neck hair sets up when I say the two words: coffee and cakes, but even today he was extremely enthusiastic about the cake offer and the cup of coffee. The feeling of 20 different pie and cake variations leaves nothing to be desired. There's no combination that doesn't exist. The portions are huge and nevertheless cheaper than the sheet metal cake at the baker. The services were super nice and friendly. For the children there is a small playground outside the door. All in all: absolutely recommended.

The quality of the dinner is perfect and it is not expensive (eight large Wiener Schnitzel with good, self-made salad and pommes: 17,90 € or a very large fresh trout with parsley potatoes here is the service and the food! I think it speaks for itself when we have been here for several years 3-4 times a year to spend the night in the cafe, to enjoy the cake and then to eat in the restaurant in the evening.
