I have been a regular guest for over 30 years and could constantly observe that the tort pieces have become narrower, but always more expensive. my favorite was the herrentorte. with the years she contained less and less marzipan. my last visit was there on 01.05.2016. I ordered as always a piece of herrentorte and a schümli coffee. the cup was half filled. the herrentorte is no longer far away from a disc torte, the floor was cookie-like, the price 3.20 € for this little torte, unfooled!

the cake counter is a dense and the beautiful are the traditional Wenning recipes that have existed even after the change of ownership. an eyewitness is the mixed obsttorte with an incomparable selection of fresh fruit varieties or in summer the grape variety. but also with the rich torte, frankfurter or agnes berauer (with fine coffee taste) you will be weak. try out and enjoy!

we visit the caffe whenever we get to the top, usually in connection with a naval ride on the harkortsee or a beautiful walk on the ruhr ufer. the service is always very friendly and the torth selection is simply pointed. we have already tried many different and can recommend all. we are looking forward to the next visit. I am always thrilled about the size of the torth pieces. services are still running around as in times of age with a stronger white apron. Just beautiful.
