The ruins of the castle, built over a river loop of the Diemel in the 1210s, initially in the early spring and then also in the countryside with the round chapel of St. John in the centre are very interesting due to the rather unusual combination of secular and spiritual buildings. You'll be greeted with a lich deity. The sun terrace as well as the guest room, with a beautiful view into the Diemeltal, is original. The cake and also the apple juice are homemade and delicious. A nice draw for a trip.
