I was looking forward into trying this restaurant, but unfortunately it was an awful experience. From the moment we sat down, our waiter whose name I believe is Kelvin (according to our receipt) was awful. He was NOT friendly, nor welcoming at all made it seem as he is doing us a favour. He seemed aggravated when we told him that we are ready to order right away. After our 2 mains we told him to please bring out the pancakes, it took a good 20 minutes to get them to our table after informing him. The pancakes came super cold not what I expected at all. Came here for brunch with friends and we did have a good experience with this place, yet there are some suggestions for improvement. When we came the coffee machine was broken which does happen and we weren’t too bummed. Yet we could tell by interactions the staff (host manager) looked rushed and worried. Our waiter however was very friendly, attentive, and kind (not sure of her name). We sat by the window. Reservation was only for a few hours, however the staff did not rush us closer to the time, we even had to wait awhile for the bill, which is fine. One of the best restaurants in town for breakfast or brunch. The pancakes are delicious and so is tuscan fries. I believe they have mastered the food as they have limited options and they want it that way so they can perfect the food art taste. The neighbourhood is peaceful and plush and you the service is amazing. It is a must try brunch spot. The cocktails were a little funny, I personally didn’t like it much and would give it a pass. Literally 3 to 4 forks of pasta at the bottom of the delivery box for $20. This is supposed to be a main dish portion and but it’s more of an appetizer size. if they felt they needed to increase the price to send a decent portion, they should have done rather than sending this small amount. I love Zuzu. Like Janet Zuccarinis other restaurants the food is super delicious and consistent. I’ve also always had exceptional service here as well. The café customer service has been really hit or miss but I’m obsessed with their turkey croissant sandwich and the coffee is stellar. Recommend for a coffee date or dinner with friends/fam. What an absolutely delightful experience having lunch at Café ZUZU today! The hostess, Shannez, and wait staff, Estephanie, are consummate professionals and completely charming. I went here for the happy hour but came out sad. Me and my boyfriend went to try their happy hour but were a little suprised when we were given the bill. 75 for 3 drinks and we only had fries as an appetizer. And apparently the waiter got the bill wrong. Would definitely not recommend going here for drinks. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

The service, quality and atmosphere are so welcoming and excellent one would think they were dreaming. Easily the most positive lunch experience I have had in decades.
