In a landscape with narrow valleys and high peaks where snow fields bare and the alpine quietness is overwhelming, you happen to sit down next to a children play ground and be waited by the very attentive and friendly host at this newly opened restaurant.Yes, it's relaxing and provides a great feeling: clean air, even wheat beer (Weissbier) from the tap and - hopefully - sunshine.Still, I question myself, why is the restaurants name in Spanish? In German it would be Murmeltier (which I did see alive while hiking) or Marmotta (Italian) ...

Visited twice during our stay in Gries. Once with 4 friends and another day including children. Great choice of Pizzas and some pastas all at very good prices including beers and wines. Would recommend pre booking as you could be disappointed just turning up. If your not good at speaking Austrian found that the main man had a good grasp of English and was very friendly. Don’t go if you want to be in out very quickly if it’s busy, good atmosphere, would recommend.

We had lunch in this lovely Café/Restaurant during our recent holiday in Austria. The food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and gave us excellent service. Would highly recommend and will be back again whenever we get a chance to visit Austria.

SEHR leckere Pizzen, aber auch das Schnitzel ist echt gut! Und das Tiramisu ist zum dahin schmelzen. Die Preise sind allesamt gerechtfertigt und bei den großen Portionen nicht übertrieben. Wir holen uns gern ab und zu etwas Reserva una mesa ahora

Habe gestern Pizza für außer Haus gekauft. Die Bauernpizza entsprach für 8,50 meinen Erwartungen. Man kann auch vor Ort Speisen. Es gibt auch Nudelgerichte und Schnitzel. Heute waren wir vor Ort und es ist empfehlenswert.

Der Spielplatz ist super und auch ohne Konsum kostenlos zum besuchen! Für die Eltern ist es aber eine tolle Möglichkeit ein paar Minuten Ruhe zu genießen.
